Default BB7 - Spiral sexual harassment

I've just remembered reading last year that Aisleyne told Big Brother that Spiral was sexually harassing her. he apparently jumped out of the bath naked and rubbed himself on her and also pushed her down on the bed and pretended to have sex with her.
this was taken very seriously by Big Brother, spiral was given a formal warning because aisleyne had spoken out about it and the incidents and any references were not shown and never mentioned again.
now despite the is it? isnt it? debate over racial discrimination, at one point shilpa did actually tell big brother she felt she was being targeted because of race, and there was footage that arguably backed this up.
so why was aisleyne's complaint taken so seriously and dealt with as it was, yet shilpa's was effectively brushed aside and the incidents still made public? whether it was actually racist or not, does Big Brother consider that a person feeling she is being sexually harassed is far more important and serious than a person feeling she is being racially bullied?
and if as they say they broadcast it to reflect society or an element of the housemate's personality or any of the other rubbish they came out with, then why not show the other clips to show that side of Spiral's personality or reflect the other perverts in society?
what does everyone else make of this?

yeah shilpa felt that way so big brother kept an eye out to give jade a fully chance and once the public went off it they had to say something, they probably thought it would pass, it never got racist until after she thought she was being targeted i cant stand that danielle though, i cant barely look at her

i dont understand how theyre show may be chopped and theyre still leaving danielle in there who could become racist again. even the way she looks at shilpa we can see shes racist and bullying towaqrds her so she should be removed to save their show because theres still things said

Good point fairplay, i remember that incident, Aisleyne was well within her right to complain, and Spiral recieved a warning. I dont think Jade ,Danielle or Jo were given warnings were they?.. if they were, i missed it.

'he apparently jumped out of the bath naked and rubbed himself on her and also pushed her down on the bed and pretended to have sex with her.'

Was Spiral singing that 'I'll do everything to you' song that he made up. Russell Brand mercilessly ripped the p*ss out of that song. Quality.

Joking aside, I do remember the incident and fairplay has a point.

After Big Brother spent 90 minutes coaching her on what to say, even though she was still reluctant. if they had convinced aisleyne to do that would it be ok?
anyways my point isnt whether it actually was or wasnt racism, its the fact that two complaints of (imo) equally serious nature seem to have been dealt with in opposite ways, and the way they handled the Aisleyne incident contradicts every justification they have given over the way they handled the Shilpa incident

I think Cleo convinced Shilpa she was imagining it, which was a bit wrong.

I think we are forgetting that it was the initial complaints made to CH4 and Ofcom that made the 'Bullying and Racism' arguments a big hoohar in which the papers hijacked and the Spiral incident may not had received the same level of complaints. Remember that Shilpa is a very popular film actress in many communities whereas we had never heard of Ashleeen and Spiral so probably didn't have the public support or the reason to bring attention to it.

Big Brother has always stated that they would like the HM's to deal with any conflict and BB would only intervene if the rules are broken. But because this years CBB went so public they got involved in the way they did.

the spiral incident didnt receive complaints because nobody saw it in the 1st place. the incident and all references to it were cut from the show and aside from some small mentions it wasn't really picked up. and public complaints aside, the bottom line is that two people felt victimised with evidence that debatably supported it, one was supported and protected, and the other was manipulated to make her suffering a ratings source
