A FORMER classmate of Jade has revealed how the BB star's bullying ruined her schooldays.

Just like housemate Shilpa Shetty, Katie Berwick was singled out because she was not a fellow loudmouth. Eventually Jade was suspended for her vile behaviour.

Katie, now 25, whose story is backed up by Jade's own gran in our interview on the left, says: "I used to keep myself to myself at school. I suppose you could say I was pretty quiet, so Jade saw me as an easy target. She made my teenage years utter hell."

The pair were at first friends at Bacon's College in Rotherhithe, South London, a Church of England senior school.

But that soon changed.

Katie said: "Jade had a way of turning the other girls against me. She would tell them lies, saying I had been rude about them and the next thing they would be after me.


"I hated going to school because of her. It was all verbal bullying - she never actually physically hit me, but she hurt me mentally. She used to shout at me in my face."


Celebrity BB was uncomfortable viewing for Katie. "I knew how Shilpa felt."


JADE tore off part of Julie Websdale's ear with her teeth in another bullying episode at Bacon's College. Julie, now a mum of two, from Orpington, Kent, said: "I'm still traumatised."
