Default Should anyone conteplating marriage spend a month away?

I think the divorce rate is about 40%+ now.
I don't like Steph but it would be better for everyone concerned for her to learn her true feelings now rather than later (perhaps post children)
So, Should everyone contemplating marriage take a months break and put themselves in a position of temptation?
You could even have a holiday destination specifically set up for such a trial.

I wrote in another thread I didn't think she had any business getting married. I don't think it would be in her best interest nor should she be committing to anything at this point. Just based on what we've seen on the show, she still has living to do. I think she got a taste of the single life and romping around and discovered what she was lacking (freedom).

Her relationship with her boyfriends sounds so codependent.

A better idea would be to live together for at least a year before deciding to marry. Then you can really find out all their nasty habits (and they yours) and if you can still live with them after that, the marriage has a good chance of surviving.

I think she and Sam already live together ..makes you wonder if he's made a nice bonfire of her stuff yet?

She reminds me of a magpie.

Her attention is easily distracted.

Ooh, shiny.

The first year is always the worst. Have to learn each other's silly habits and deal with conflict while being in same space constantly. I lived 7 1/2 years with husband before I married. We got married a week after I finished college. We were both really young when we moved in together at 19. I'm a fan of waiting until you're finished growing. There was no rush and it was considerate of him too because he had time too to be sure he wanted to get married. There was no stigma and we enjoyed the process much more when we finally did.
