This kind of thread seems distasteful to me. There was one about Darren's past as well. I understand how hypocritical they look for judging Steph (she's one of my favs), but bringing up their past transgressions like this seems a bit cheap.

I totally agree...in fact, that is the reason that Stephanie has become one of my favs. I detest how vile and foul mouthed the attacks are by some of the housemates (particularly Gemma and Daniella) and posters in this forum. I would love for Stephanie to win just to give them all coronaries.

I don't believe two wrongs make a right, though...and as I dislike the nastiness towards Stephanie, I feel the same about bringing up personal/embarrassing and irrelevant information about housemates pasts.

Exactly. The reason why i did bring this topic up, is that Danniella has no right to judge Stephanie at any level. Stephanie has cheated her boyfriend. Ok, but so what? She is not vile as John, boring like Darren, sheep like Scotty T.

There are no words or stories that can excuse the vile and disgusting behaviour of this deranged young girl. Either she is playing a great game, or her x BF Sam is well rid of her. She is disgusting on all levels but she has provided some entertainment for viewers and isn't that what the programmes about. She has no right to win it though and wont. That's tiffs to loose, unfortunately.

I hope the reason that people use others past against them is because they are so young and inexperienced they have not yet needed to be forgiven for making mistakes so they don't realise how wrong it is to judge Dani and Darren in this way

Agree with hot2go. You can't judge people on how they have behaved in the past when under the influence of drugs. They were seriously ill - not choosing to do the odd line at irresponsible times - addiction is a very nasty illness and your sense and normality can go out the window. A lot of people on here have zero knowledge about addictions (lucky them).

Good luck to Darren and Danniella. I'm sure they both have some shockers of stories. That's what coke (and other drugs) does to you. Some can do the odd line and think others who do it can be held responsible for their actions, others it sends completely mad and they waste thousands on it and need it constantly. My BF cries about things he's done in the past under the influence of coke and doesn't recognise himself from what he was like for more than half his life. He wasted years and lost so much. I'd hate people to judge him on what he was once like and quote his actions...

I didn't know she was bipolar ....that makes a huge difference to me knowing that....and I know I will be told I am obsessed again but you telling me that just makes me hate Gemma at a whole new level, because Daniela being bipolar would have been the hook to Gemmas manipulation, for sure.

If anyone wants to reflect on Danielas drug use then they need to blame whoever put the drug in her hand when she was only 14 years old.....otherwise they are only attacking a victim of abuse.
