Default Jo\'s reaction to Shilpa\'s food

Indians (and people of the sub continent) use a lot of spices in their food and they are a NATURAL antibiotic and de-tox

Its common in western worlds too to have mint when you have a cold, to have ginger for digestion, clove for tooth infections etc.

When i have the flu i eat my aunts curry for one day and I am back to normal again!

Jo's reaction is one of someone how had loads of toxins in her body and the effect of the food is clearing her out.

Maybe she should be grateful!!

Just wanted to mention that!

And she has a cousin who is half indian. So im sure she eats alot of Indian food.

And you are right, the food is detoxing her system, but because its full of c**p its paining her abit and giving her an upset stomach.
But generally she is a moaning so and so. If you don't like it, don't eat it. Say you'll cook your own food. She doesn't participate in anything and if she does, its half hearted.
Has she even made herself a cup of tea or does she wait on Ian and Cleo to make it for her?

Jo's a very good cook actually..and if Shilpa wasn't always in the kitchen then maybe Jo would get a chance to cook, but again it's nice of Shilpa being willing to cook for the other housemates. she's always making big meals at lunch tho, which would get on my nerves if i was in there as i prefer smaller lunches and bigger dinners like most of the other housemates are used to.

I totally agree!!!! When i have a cold - and my tastebud goes numb - i love a curry - not hot curry but with lots of spices - smells so warm and appetizing!! or a sushi with lots of wasabi - clears my nostril!!! From time to time, one will get a bit of a tummy run when they eat something different - however, it is not diarrhoea. Too much beer atcually can make you have the runs. Anyone out there agree with me?

I think Jo is just miserable. She said that she feels that she acheieved something when the person she is goading - breaks down. ( cant remember her exact words but meaning is same) How sad is that? Why does she feel good in hurting someone who didnt do her no harm? Perhaps, she is beeing over-sensitive and think everyone is horrible to her??????? To think that a young girl like her but so miserable - by the time she is 60 - she would be Bitter and Twisted!! and Ugly!! I really do not like her a bit. I wish someone would just tell her how awful she is - before she is a goner!!

Jos mission in life is to complain. None of her complaints mean anything anymore cause shes just complained about everything. She should go home and never come out unless she can learn not to be so cynical.
