Rival R&B divas Beyoncé Knowles Carter and Mariah Carey posed for a selfie together at the Heartview Global Charity Gala held at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles Thursday night.

According to TMZ, 34-year-old Beyoncé and 45-year-old Mariah both agreed a duet needed to happen and they made plans to collaborate in the future.

During the charity auction, the 20-time Grammy winner and the five-time Grammy winner - who share business manager Jon Schwartz - got into a bidding war over a Ray Charles portrait and they both won.

'After throwing down thousands, the artist agreed to give them both a copy,' an insider told TMZ.

Knowles-Carter and Carey haven't performed together since 2008 when they joined Mary J. Blige and others onstage Fashion Rocks Stand Up to Breast Cancer.

The glamorous millionaires also served as muses for designer Donatella Versace at her Versus SS/04 runway show in Milan back in 2003.

And Mariah has posed pictures in the past of herself with the Formation hitmaker on special occasions like New Year's Eve.
