Default Baby talk

Whilst we are on the subject of babies, I am already knitting up a storm for my future grandchild (one matinee jacket and half a shawl in 3 ply so far)

I just wondered if any of you ladies out there (or gents, why not!) had any nice 2 or 3 ply baby patterns I could borrow? I seem to have lost most of mine, and there are *** all in the shops now.

I hardly got any knitted clothes for Maddie, so I don't know of anyone with any patterns unfortunately ROB.

Good luck with finding some - I am sure your grandchild will look lovely in the matinee jacket!

Welcome back Sticks - is that really you?

Your break must have done you the power of good - keep up the funnies!

Sorry ROB - can't help on the knitting pattern front. I did have quite a few I used when my two nieces were born - but they're 18 and 17 later on this year!

Never attempted a shawl, though - I'm VERY impressed!

I think that relationship has stalled, as they have not progressed it to the next logical conclusion. Paul did say he could not imagine having a baby out of wedlock, so this speculation is pointless.

But then I am just being a life changes presentation consultant

Let's not get personal though LMG! Sticks is just pulling our collective leg.

He has a duty to introduce a gloomy alternative view at all times, and we expect and (mostly) love him for it.

My alternative to his alternative is this:

Mr Clarke would not pointlessly string Helen along because:

a) It would not be right
b) It would be completely out of order!

I just think he is a very cautious bloke, and he isn't ready to have a family yet. He said by the time he was 35 he wanted to be settled with a wife and family who were proud of him.

He is 27 on Saturday, and I think the time is nigh. He was born when his dad was 28 or 29 and we know he greatly admires his parents. I'd be surprised if they don't get wed in the next year or so, so that the family can be legitimately started!

I do hope you're right, ROB. We have been very patient (well some of us more than others!!) and I think it's time Paul got down on one knee, preferably in the most romantic spot in the universe!!

Any ideas anyone?

First of all, members of this forum do not make sarcastic and insulting comments to fellow members, it is childish in the extreme.

Secondly, a member who consistently posts on this site almost exclusively about Helen and Paul cannot really blame other members for talking about them:-

See Here

Thirdly, lighten up! I highly doubt Helen and Paul read this forum and if they do, they will only come across love and good wishes in the content!
