Drink also affects people in different ways. I had a uni pal that loved the social aspect of drinking but it just made him feel dizzy and sick and eventually he just stopped as it was not fun for him, he had ear problems as well. My mum got drunk once and hated it so much she never drank again. I also knew a girl who would just go bright red when she drank and she hated it and thus hardly touched a drop.

Strangely I don't think I ever needed a drink, I get a bit giddy on the atmosphere. Drinking just led to complete sensory overload :/

My returning post is this. I have been bought up in a household where my dad would drink beer every night and my mother would have a drink or six.

They never got drunk but they did have a drink everynight. When I moved out i vowed not to be the same just due to the health concerns but recently ive been having a drink everynight whether its a beer, a glass (or bottle) of wine.

Tonight i have gone through a whole bottle of pink moscato barefoot, as it was reduced BY ONLY 50p to Ł5.50. My mind told me "It's on offer, so get it and save it for a good night" - a few hours later after my evening cigerette i decided to open it and have a glass only to find that I a teaspoon left (doesnt count as the whole bottle, right?)

So my question to you is, Do you have a drink or twelve every night, or do you just save it for the weekends or special occasions? If you do, is is part of your routine? Do you fancy it? Do you feel like you need it?

Answer below.

Ciao xxxx
I had a look at this wine..it's 9 per cent so a bottle is okay

Isnt this an addiction?

Not being sarcy btw but if you are drinking every night and reassuring yourself that you need to by booze because its 50p off then theres a problem there imo

I only have a couple of glasses of red wine on a Friday and Saturday night.

I do like Baileys though and get through bottles of the stuff throughout December

there is no point asking a forum if you have a drinking problem. Only you know the honest answer to that and the fact that you are posting indicates that you believe you have an issue. The question is, do you want to alter your drinking habit. If you do, then seek assistance, if you don't then carry on.

I rarely drink alcohol really, only if out with friends or family and usually that is limited to no more than 3 drinks.
Only at Christmas and New year do I buy alcohol for to have in the house, just to offer any visitors a drink if they want one.

The only other times I sometimes have alcohol will be with a meal when out but then really prefer water with a meal anyway.
Then again as I drive most places now, I never ever have alcohol.

Most of what I bought this Christmas past is still there intact,it just doesn't appeal to me really.
So no in answer to the question,I don't have a drink every night.

Not really ,
I just like to offer anyone one who visits over the Christmas/New Year period.
Otherwise I never have alcohol in the house usually.
