So my 16+ free travel card isn't working, I've just been showing them my card on the bus this week and they've let me on.
But one bus driver didn't let me on even though he should have So, to be safe I've taking a normal oyster (my mums) and topped it up. Is the maximum you can spend £4.50 in a day on a bus? Because it says £1.50 a journey but some people said £4.50 is the daily cap/bus pass for a day. I put like £5 on it and need to get 4 busses tomorrow. Last edited by Will.; 23-03-2016 at 05:22 PM. |

I'm sure 4.50 is the cap but I'm not 100%. There should be a number on the back of the card you can ring to check though.

Saying that though even if the cap isn't 4.50 you'll still be ok for 4 journeys as it allows you on even if you have less than 1.50 on your card, as long as it's a positive balance, which yours will be for a 4th journey, it will just take you into a minus balance
