Hi everyone

It is quite late now and I am not sober lol, but I thought I would let you all know that I am going to meet Leee John at the airport tomorrow morning when he returns to the UK. The only downside of this is that his plane gets in at 6:30am

I'll post a report and some pics up here

I did know earlier that he had lost the vote and that Haydon and Michelle were up for the chop this week, but I couldnt post it up lol cos him and Tone are under contract not to tell anyone before the show goes out.

OMG I have just got back from the airport LOL after meeting Leee

I was so hung over this morning (Who? Me? Never!) and almost almost didn't make it.

I'll do a full write up later and I have some pics to post up as well

but I have to go and get them developed cos the batteries in my digital camera had died and I had to buy one of those disposable ones from the airport.

I'm still on a high though

God how mad was that lol

We were all chatting in a chatroom last night while watching Reborn and we knew Leee was already on his way home cos the show had been filmed the night before and we had been told then.

We’d all been talking and exchanging emails and texts with Leee while he was over there and Pat (Leee’s friend and webmaster) said that it would be lovely if one of us met him at the airport, and as Jetty is in Liverpool and Mary is in Italy, I am only 20mins away from Heathrow, and somehow it ended up being me lol I was very drunk last night lol and don’t even really remember being talked into it.

I went to bed at about 2:30 and set the alarm for 5:30 cos Leee’s plane got in at 6:30. Another friend said she was going to phone me and give me a wake up call just to make sure as well lol.

When I finally woke up, it was 6 o’clock, I’d slept through my alarm and my wake up call and I felt VERY hungover lol. I don’t think I have ever got up so quickly though, I was out the door about 5 mins after I got out of bed, but it meant I didn’t have chance to get ready properly and was paranoid that I looked a real sight

I got to Heathrow, parked and made my way to Terminal 3 Arrivals and miraculously was only about 5 mins late, and I knew he wouldn’t have got through customs and the baggage hall by then so I was pretty sure I hadn’t missed him.

After hanging around for about 20mins looking at all the people coming off the plane I was starting to panic and was thinking I had missed him after all when all of a sudden he appeared around the corner, with a Heathrow porter pushing his trolley for him. The guy next to me started waving at him and I suddenly realised I had been standing next to Leee’s friend Barry, who I have spoken to on chat, all the time and neither of us had realised. There were also about 3 other people there to meet him as well.

He came over and hugged us all and I introduced myself and he said that he knew I was going to be there cos Pat had texted him last night and told him and he was really pleased to meet me and thanked us all for supporting him so much. I told him that everyone said ‘hi’ and we were all gutted that he was off the bus and that there was no way that Michelle should have beaten him.

He said he was very glad to be back and he knew it was going to be him coming home and he hadn’t been upset cos he had been expecting it. He said that Granada had wanted Michelle to stay this week because there was going to be tension and they wanted something to film, also he said they didn’t want to get rid of the last girl. He was glad to be home though and said that he had really enjoyed it and wouldn’t have missed it for the world but he had got the best deal coming home this week on his own and he was glad that he wasn’t coming back with the other 4 and all the entourage next week cos he could just slope off home and have a rest.

We chatted for ages cos he was waiting for his car to arrive. He was getting really annoyed with Granada cos he said there were so many things that they had arranged badly and how hopeless they were. They were supposed to have arranged a car to come and meet him but it didn’t seem to be there. After hanging around for well over an hour, trying to contact people, we gave up and Barry and Leee’s other friends decided it would just be quicker if they took Leee home themselves so we gave up waiting for the car and went outside. Leee and Barry piled all his stuff in their cars – he had a lot of luggage lol – and we had a final chat and a hug and we said we’d meet up again at the final.

I took quite a few pics and Barry took some of me and Leee, but I have to go and get them developed cos I had forgotten that there were no batteries for my digital camera (must get some more) so I bought one of those throw away jobbies from the airport. They’ll prob be crap pics with it, but better than nothing eh

I’ll get them developed today hopefully and post them up later

LEE, what are you like?! What fantastic photos!!

(I saw Imagination at the Hammersmith Odean many moons ago. Lots of tight, sparkly all in one outfits if I remember right.
