Dan was my absolute favourite that series and I was furious the way he went out due to that awful twist.

Still he got together with Rylan weeks after the series ended and now they are married and happy it seems.

It was good to see him on 'This Morning' recently too as to burglary issues.

Unpopular opinion but I was glad he was evicted over Sam and Sophie.

Him clocking all the twists only for him to not clock the twist that screwed him over and led to his eventual eviction was satisfying

Plus he didn't entertain me so it was more of a case of who annoyed me the most during that eviction.

The basis of his appeal was that he kept clocking twists/other housemates like Jemima and Wolfy whilst...what exactly? He gave up a career in the police to marry Rylan Clark and try to persuade OK magazine they're Elton & David? Who does that unless they're under the influence? He loved the sound of his own voice and talked over everyone else. Plus the desperation to prove he wasn't a "femme" gay (despite all evidence pointing to the contrary) is toxic. He's basically everything wrong with media gays. He is basically Dan Wootton.

ya LJ and Shaun summed it up nicely. My fave "lol Dan" memory is when after spending weeks trying to convince us that he is NOT CAMP, JLo's "Play" was their alarm the morning of the freeze task and Dan danced around the bedroom singing along in these skimpy ****ing shorts. He's so not flamboyant though.
