I know I shouldn't, but I genuinely feel sorry for C5 having had this barrage of negativity.

I would much prefer it to go back to the way it was in the beginning too but I guess it's moved on, C5 are concentrating solely on the newest wave of fans imo, the ones that want really eccentric or argumentative housemates, constant fighting, bitching etc which causes the producers to feel like they have to constantly be manufacturing drama and 'twists'....if only they realised a lot of the drama comes naturally if hm's are left to their own devices with normal nominations and reactions to situations and so on.

I suppose it's at the point where we should be happy we have 'BB' at all

There have been wannabes, that is true- but I don't believe C4 ever had someone already straight up involved in the media, unlike C5 (who almost every single one has been connected to Z-listers or trash tv).
Also in C4 days, along with the wannabes, there were always people less desperate for fame
