Yeah... People were saying that about Brexit yesterday. And a Tory majority last year.

Assuming these political trends are global and not just local, I think at this point he actually has a very real chance. I'm not saying it's "likely" per se but certainly there's a significant chance.

Not Boris, no way, not any day and hopefully not ever, for me.
What a turncoat he proved to be.

This was Boris's real plan, had Cameron comedown for out, he would have led the in campaign.
He may not be the first candidate throwing his name forward,he may wait and see for a while and then be there eventually, one things for sure he will be there.

It has been Johnson's plan since he abandoned his promise to not even think of seeking election to Westminster until he had fully completed his London Mayor terms.
Then jumped at the chance in may last year, over a year before his Mayoral term closed, to then go on to stab the PM on this EU issue, only to further his own greed and ambition to replace him.

How I hope he fails in that and if he does, it will be a well deserved comeuppance.

gutted. hes been a truly great prime minister , taking us from the complete and utter wreckage of new labours bankrupt broken nation to where we are now, record employment, healthy growth, reduction in the breed for benefits culture....he did have some bad apples like IDS and osbourne...but overall he was a great statesman and he DID deliver us the referendum as promised and he did fight for a 7 day nhs which I 100% believe in. we wil struggle to find a leader of his calibre

nigel farage should get a knighthood, if it wasn't for him, this brexit vote would never of happened, he turned a small euroscepitic tory split party into the people's party, he would make a better pm than dodgy dave would,
