Has anyone elses autocorrect lost the ability to spell and doesn't offer up any alternative when you know you've misspelled something and it's not presenting you with alternatives?

Sometimes it may do nut they're wildly unrelated to what I want to put. Also it's stopped punctuation. As in I'll put theyre wanting it to autocorrect to they're and it doesn't do it.

I'm finding it a big bloody hindrance. IE just then - hindrance. It changed it to Hitler. Wtf?!
