My mum was crying off this when some dude died and his gf was on his bed sobbing and chasing cars was on in the background.
Sad woman. I occasionaly remind her that they are actors and it's not real. |

Oh sorry, i wouldn't know what's what. And you're just as bad then.
It makes me laugh, they're getting paid so many thousands for lying on a bed playing dead and you're all sat home crying. It's great. |

Have they stopped showing it on LivingTV in place of Boston Legal?

But the earlier seasons will probably be harder to find. I wouldn't wanna download season 3 and not have a clue what's happening.
How much GB does a computer normally have? Cause I found the whole of season 1 to download, taking up 3GB, that shouldn't be a problem, should it? |

Series 2 is brilliant Princess I watched it on Living tv, but I tempted to get the DVDs.
I really think Denny is gorgeous! He kind of reminds me of Chris Noth, who is one of my long standing crushes ever since he was on Law and Order. |

Do you prefer Chris Noth as Logan in L&O to Mr Big in S&TC?

I like him in both, but I prefer him in L & O. I love the show, but I don't think it was ever as good once he left. Benjamin Bratt was nowhere near as good.

L&O is a great show and the spin offs are equally good. I can't decide which I prefer Criminal Intent or Special Victims Unit both are good but they're completely different in style. I think I probably prefer Criminal Intent; it’s less sensational. If you know what I mean. |

Yeah, I think I like CI better than SVU too, although all three shows are excellent. I like Vincent D'Onofrio in CI - and Logan actually comes back into CI as a regular cast member in season 5, which I'm looking forward to. I also love Homicide: Life On The Street - a lot of the same people involved in that show are now in The Wire, and Homicide also did a few crossovers with L&O too.

Aye I agree. I heard Noth was coming back; I think it's due to D'Onofrio's illness. Annabella Sciorra will be in it too. CI's great but it could definitely do with a bit of eye candy for the guys.
Many behind the scenes staff are involved in both Homicide and the Wire. Many people in Baltimore consider the Wire to be the spiritual follow up to Homicide and the whole Homicide set up was based on one of David Simon's novels. For me, the Wire is the best show currently on. The writing great, the acting's good and the characters are deep and believable, but the real star of the who is the extremely intricate plots. All three seasons needs to be viewed at least twice for the audience to appreciate every little detail. Brilliant stuff |

I've got both of David Simon's books 'Homicide: A Year On The Killing Streets' and 'The Corner'. They're both excellent
