David Simon is some writer. I'd like to see the adaptation of the Corner but it's not available on DVD.
Remember CI is on tonight and L&O on tomorrow. |

I'm going to make the effort to watch it this time. I kind of missed out on the first season.

I taped the double bill from sunday and watched it last night. It was like E.R meets Ally McBeal. What was all that about the pregnant man. I didn't get that.

I started watching it, but I've been really ill all weekend, and fell asleep through the first one. Does anyone know if it's repeated?

SPOILERS I watched it on Living tv, but series 2 finished a while ago now. If I remember properly, he had a twin growing inside him, which would have been there since he was born. Bit of a coincidence that it all kicked off when his wife was pregnant though! As I say, it was a while ago that I saw it - someone else might be able to give more details. |

It was repeated last night. But I got in late and saw like the last 30 seconds. I'm gonna watch them tonight.

Watched my first full episode just now.
It started off a bit slow, I thought it was OK, but then It really picked up. I enjoyed it, would be better if I knew the people more though. |

I've watched four episodes now. It's good but I'm not jumping out of my seat at the prospect of next weeks episode. For me, the main problem is the fact that you can tell it's an American network show ie ABC, CBS or NBC. I tend to prefer the shows that come from HBO, Showtime and FX they all seen to be edgier. The network shows, to me, seem to be created in a sterile lab where every episode has the right amount of comfort, romance, drama, melodrama and action. I like the show, don't get me wrong, but I'd prefer if it was a bit edgier. I stick by my analogy of E.R. meets Ally McBeal.

HBO does the best stuff - Sex And The City was HBO, and so is Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is one of the funniest things on tv at the moment.

I moderate on a Grey's Anatomy forum Geoff, and we have about 14,000 members and 4 of them are male - 2 of the males are gay and the other 2 are teenagers. So, I think that pretty much sums up the GA audience.

Which forum is that. I'll take a look and hijack it.
I know I'm not in the demographic for the show and I do like it. I'd just prefer if it wasn't so generic. I loved Ally McBeal by the way and I was a Sex and the City fan but only in the early seasons. So I do like some shows that are aimed at women. |

Seriously though... I never watched Sex and the City. I watched Ally McBeal for the first few seasons, then they started showing them in the wrong order and I lost track...
I watch ER, and I love it. I find GA to be the light-hearted watered-down version of ER.. it's "light" entertainment at it's best. |

I'm surprised you never saw SATC you'd have liked it. All the female characters were stroppy like you.

Back to GA. By the way you still haven't told me the name of the forum. I want to know how an internet thug like you can become a moderator
I think the female characters are quite genric too. You've got the hard bitch who I bet softens up eventually, the really attractive over sympathetic one and the slighly ditzy but actually brilliant one. Do the men actually do anything in the whow. |
