I thought he was really funny at the start when he was in the Others house but after that he got progressively more boring

No, he's the classic attention seeking shallow wannabee that BB recruits every season. I'm pretty sure he's a nice enough lad in everyday life if a camera isn't around but BB like to exploit young peoples unrealistic ambitions and so we have Ryan who in 10 years time, hopefully married and hopefully somehow with kids will look back to his footage on BB and see what a tit he was and be suitably embarrassed...
