Default Suggestion for the reason this series is only 50 days
With CBB starting right after and it looks likely it will last 5 weeks as usual. Maybe they are leaving themselves more time to prepare for an All Star series in January? It gives them almost an extra month as housemate selection would presumably be more complicated. Channel 5 also said last year they have the rights to air an all star series. Thoughts?

how do we know the celeb one will last longer?

could be they know we've some summer on its way and the celeb darllings demand at least some top-up-on-their-tan and splash-in-the-pool time

It's because Rylan is hosting Xtra I think, BOTS is on 6 days a week for CBB

Ew if they really think Rylan is worth altering a series length. Him off BOTS would already make it more bearable

Someone on DS speculated that there wont be a final and that the final 5 would join the celebs. I can see C5 doing that but I dont think it would be good.

If it's for Rylan I'm really annoyed. I'm sure the fans would rather go without BOTS for the last few weeks than have a dramatically shorter series. They could have had a 64 day series and not had BOTS for the final 2 weeks if it was because of Rylan's schedule.
