Default 3 police officers dead in Louisiana shooting


Three police officers have been confirmed dead after they were shot while on duty in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The city's mayor, Kip Holden, said the officers had been responding to reports of gunfire when they were ambushed.

One suspect has been killed, and police have confirmed they are looking for two other shooters after reviewing footage of the attack.

Authorities say a further three law enforcement officers are being treated in hospital, but the extent of their injuries is not known.

A bomb disposal robot is checking to see whether the neutralised suspect was armed with explosives.

Sickening. Maybe the police should pull out of Baton rouge for a week and teach the thick haters a real lesson.
