Default Which BB format do you prefer?

Big Brother has changed a lot- but which format do you prefer, and which works well.

BB1-BB3: Basic
BB4: Basic, twists introduced
BB5-BB7: Twists

I prefer the basic format. If they get the right mix of housemates, you don't need the twists. Just my opinion.

Personally, I prefer BB5-BB7.
A lot more entertaining imo. More stuff happening, and it keeps you gripped.

BB4: Basic, twists introduced. Less confusing and easier to watch.

BB5 easily.

The best twists BB have ever come across. The most evil, the better IMO

BB3. They had a great set of housemates and enough 'twists' for it to be really entertaining but not overbearing.

I think the tasks/live tasks made BB3 great for me and the whole Rich/Poor divide as the winner chose who was on which side.

It was my favourite series and i'd like BB8 to be similar. I find all these 'freaks' boring, i prefer the Jonny/Kate/Alison but also add an Alex in and i think that's why BB3 was so good.

I agree. The HM's make the big brother.

However, I like the way in BB5-BB7 the HM's are up one week and then down the next. It really showed how well they cope under the pressure.

I say fewer freaks but keep the plot twists.

The Big Brother 5 and 6 style twists. I'd have to say my favourites were from those two series. The best twists in my opinion were:

The Bedsit
Big Brother will lie twice
Secret Garden (especially stealing food and taking secret showers)
If the privates pass, they're up for eviction
Dan refusing to nominate; everyone's up

BB3: It had twists but it didn't ruin viewing with a twist EVERY week

BB5-BB7 but perhaps tone down on the twist SLIGHTLY, otherwise it gets too confusing.

BB5-BB7 for me.

BB5 was the best series it had the right mixture of housemates as well as the whole evil concept that added to it and made it more gripping without being over the top.

BB7 was abit confusing at times and the twists were too much it became abit too ott but also thik this is largely down to the fact it went on for soooo long!!
