Default The series is over now

Hughie is the winner of BB17, we can all go home now

Ugh, so dull though. I feel the series is a bit dead now.

The last 6 days promo of St Hughie has been tedious.

The winner of a series does not change the quality of said series

It does IMO, it can leave quite a sour taste.

It does taint the ending slightly. Whether or not BB17 becomes my favourite series on C5 rests on Alex (and I guess Sam and Jason too) not winning

Like, I'd probably put BB14 above BB15 had Sam ****ing Evans not won and if Helen and Ashleigh weren't F2. It's significant in that respect

Hughie winning would be better than any of the past four series tbh

as for whether the winner matters on the whole series, eh I'm of mixed minds. A lot of the time I don't care too much because boring/predictable winners are easy to gloss over, but then there are instances like BB15 where Helen wins and the series somehow manages to get even worse because of it.

I think what it comes down to is the fact that narrative does matter, but winners like Anthony and Sam don't really change the narrative too much so it's not a big deal.

I would love Jason to win. But Unfortunately, Hughie will. I'm glad Evelyn is in the final.
I really never thought she would make the Final.
