Default So, Do We Know Why They're Ending This Series Early Only To Start CBB A Day Later?

Any official word?

Do you think this will be how it will be from now on for the summer series: 50 days length?

I was also wondering this too? Why are they winding up the series early. TBH 6 weeks just isn't long enough.

I'd guess it's to try and make more money. I've not been following viewing figures but I presume numbers start high, tail off as the series runs its course then rise again for the final. BB are trying to reduce the middle bit. Whether this hurts the show over the longer term is probably of no concern to them because money now is what counts.

I believe it's because they wanted to get Big Brother out the way before the Olympics started, and they also wanted the celebrity version underway before they started too.

To make way for their precious Summer CBB

I too think that a 50 day civillian series will sadly become the norm now
