This. Patsy and Perez openly talked about being on the show before CBB15, and Carol talked loads about looking at rumour lists during the first few days of CBB12 - just a couple of examples.

The American housemates always know who all the British celebs are when they go in so they clearly research whose going in with them. Frankie was saying the names of every housemate as soon as they came in.
