His odds to leave first tomorrow have shortened from ~33/1 to ~10/1 too.

Wasnt sure if that deserved its own thread either

Buckled that people think Bear fans will give a crap about him being a dick to his girlfriend . Methinks some may have missed the point... People don't like bear because the bethink he's nice.

Also... A middle aged women still hanging from mummy's apron strings is pretty much THE most tragic thing I can imagine.

You mustn't be able to imagine very much then.

Well bear is a self centred human being. But I couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face when lilie entered... But at the end of the day, he was the one who cheated on her with Chloe Khan. The public are keeping him in because he is controversial and bound to cause drama though. And now he is favourite to win..

People who can't let go of mummy when they are pushing 50 will inevitably implode when dear old mum kicks the bucket. No idea how to exist without parental input and validation. It IS tragic. I'll bet she's been heavily involved in "guiding " (pushing) her career, too.

Youre assuming the mother is looking after the daughter and it is entirely probable that the opposite is true and that isn't tragic at all.

And a daughter looking after her mother during her later stage of life is entirely commendable.

They were going on as if they have been estranged for years, never mind 3 weeks. Hell I don't see my mother for months on end at (unfortunate) times but I don't react as if someone has died when I finally see her Was OTT. IMO.

I really don't get this family going in to say something to housemates, even Marnie's Cousin.
The one for Renee was okay, something for a laugh.

For goodness sake, Sam has only been away from her Mum for a couple of weeks,I haven't seen my Mum for 5 weeks.
I would guess Sam was away for much longer periods when at the height of her 'art' as she calls it in the 1980s.

And an embarrassingly juvenile jibe doesn't get any funnier simply by repeating it.

It doesn't matter how old you are...your mums always there for you. Sam has gone through a bereavement and her mum was probably her rock. It's been a hard house to live in this year with prats like Bear and Heavy D. It must be hard to cope with especially if you have had a tough year.
Sam has lost some support from me with the Chloe thing and bugging herself up but it's her mum...and if you are close with your mum and she's always been there for you..age is irrelevant.

I'm not bitter, I'm realistic. I'm happy for anyone who has a good ADULT relationship with their parents, but there's nothing worse than "permanent offspring" who hang on their parents words until the day they die.

There's a lot worse. In the real world at least, give it a visit sometime.

People who rely on their parents to always be there for them, as I said, struggle to function when their parents are (inevitably) gone. Simple as that, really. It happens all the time. People lose that "rock" and they crash and burn because they never really grew up.

Ehhhhhh of course there's literally worse, just as there are literally things that are more tragic, but you seem to have an issue with hyperbole and not taking things literally so I'll be sure to remember that.

Showing affection is one thing. Clinging to her as if she is the last lifejacket on the titanic whilst bawling your eyes out is quite another.
