Bear wanted Frankie up because he's "shady" and is nice to his face.

Fair enough. But Bear is nice to Frankie's face, inviting him into his den and to imaginary beach parties, etc.

Then he's telling Frankie that he nominated him because he needed to have the experience of facing the vote.

Frankie is multi-faced and nice to Bear's face. However, he doesn't seem to have some moral argument for what he's doing...he just wants to win!

I don't want either of them to win, by the way. They're both t0ssers! I just find Bear's reasoning dubious even by his generally obtuse standards.

He likes him, but doesn't trust him. Same with Ricky, but they're closer so I knew he wouldn't pick him. The only one he trusts it's probably Marnie

There's no difference in the level of fakeness with those two. The difference is control of it. Frankie is in people pleasing default setting and he is fake when he is charmed into Bear's close proximity. Be it the den or Bear asking for a hug. Sometimes when Bear demands a hug, he has already delivered diary room speeches regarding hm's fakeness. I feel it's a clever tactic to show them up further to the viewing public. He's probably more than aware that Frankie bitches in the Dr. Motioning for Frankie to come in for a hug or a special exclusive invite to a den is then Bear validating to himself that those who accept readily a hug or his special treatment are also fake for viewers. I see major control. Frankie is being played like a fiddle. I dislike Bear but he's many steps ahead of Frankie Imo as a gameplayer.

Agreed. But he's clever at manipulating others who are the people pleasers. As if he's in an expose mission. I don't buy the friendship with Ricky either.

..I do think that he probably likes Frankie (in as much as Bear can allow himself to think of others above his own quest to win..)...but I don't believe his reasons at all for nominating him...he's spent much time in pointing out how Ricky wouldn't deserve the win and a few others as well in their non-contributions as housemates ..but he hasn't been able to say that of Frankie because he has entertained and been a positive character as well, so it's just competition for him and nominating that competition...others were honest about that when they nominated Frankie but I don't believe in any honesty with Bear's reasons...

He accused Frankie of sailing under the radar last night. Frankie has not done that. Alright Frankie is as fake as hell but he hasn't hidden either. He's trying the same trick he tried on Ricky last week because he knows now he can't get rid of Ricky.

Bear has constantly been the fakest person in there, he slates people for slagging him off, then does the same thing to them, he slates people being two faced, then goes on to be two faced, he's just generally a massive hypocrite.
