Technically there is not much difference between the two machines other than the disc drive. Okay they have different processors and graphics chips but essentially they are the same generation machine with the same sort of graphics. And given the Xbox 360 has be around longer the programmers of the games will be producing tighter and more efficient code for the Xbox which leads to better games with better graphics.
I would say go buy a Xbox 360 and miss the PS3 bandwagon until the price drops in a years time.

Indeed. I agree with every word. I posted a little rant half way up stating that I think Sony have dropped the ball with their marketing.
Hasn't the PS3 got a Blue tooth controller that it's ripped off from the Wii? It's sad that most of the delays have been due to Sony trying to out do everybody else.
Another thing I object to is why is the PS2 still £100 while a normal xbox is about half that. The Xbox is a better console so why the big price differential. I thin Sony have shown how money oriented they are.
They'll lose in the end.
