Default Bear's Arms Up gesture is PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE

Arms up is like fake cringing, saying 'don't hit me', or 'you're bullying me' after having been extremely provocative, aggressive, or even physical with the actual 'victim'.

It's deflective - often done to disarm, to inhibit and to provoke even more whilst faking being in 'sub' mode.

It's rather common and ordinary, nasty fourteen year old behaviour. Bear seems stuck in some nasty dysfunctional pubescent timewarp.

It's a nasty nasty move and Aubrey gave it right back to him. She is such an intelligent woman.

How is raising your arms aggressive? Aubrey was the one who was aggressive, invading his personal space.

Well no its not, its your opinion, and opinion does not mean its true

Do you disagree that Aubrey was actually physically aggressive during the argument? Out of curiosity.

Oh girls girls, and by that I mean Vanessa and Vicky, seriously look up what passive aggressive means. You're fighting a losing battle trying to defend this scum. And yes he probably will win but Aubrey was 100% correct in what she said, it will be the biggest achievement of his sad little life which is patethic.

I know what passive aggressive means, thanks. I disagree that it was passive aggressive. I also am not defending him over last night..I was totally on Aubreys side infact until she got up in his face (which if this happened the other way round there would be CARNAGE on here) and somehow, him backing away is more wrong than her doing it in the first place

My thoughts exactly. Last paragraph most definitely. He keeps reminding me that I'm back to work in September to see it all again on a weekly basis. But children can and are forgiven.

Oh make your minds up ...you've spent four weeks trying to convince us he's aggressive and failed to prove it so now you're saying he's passive aggressive..... It's so rubbish....you must piss even yourselves off

I kind of agree with the sentiment of your post but i hate it when people just copy and paste part of someone elses post on another site and dont mention it.

It was also apparently mentioned on live feed by someone (I didnt watch this so going entirely on hearsay here) that BB had told him to do this if he felt threatened at any point. Can anyone who watched it comment on this please? Have only seen it mentioned on DS (and also in the post bobnot linked..which is what reminded me of this)

As that post says, it is a very odd thing for BB to suggest he does..and does kinda come off as them encouraging him to wind them up...

Vanessa to say that Aubrey is invading his personal space totally hypocritical when Renee had to ask Bear to not invade her personal space. You're beginning to become more of a hypocrite than Bear and that says something

What? She was the more aggressive of the two in the scenario. No need to make claims of passive aggrieved behaviour now to make that ok.

He tried to leave the room and she blocked his way and stepped to him. Naturally you will back away and raise your hands if you aren't going to butt heads.

The only time he has been aggressive was when he threw the cup. Other than that he can control his temper very well.

When will people stop making excuses for this nasty, little wind-up merchant and see his behaviour for what it really is?

Nothing at all wrong, he did it to to expose her aggression and to show he was not reacting in a similar way and stepping back.

Something this nasty piece of work refused to do herself.

He ll have interviews a romance - fall in love have kids and be happy - maybe end up a roofer - maybe end up in showbiz - but hes enjoyed his 20s a great deal more than most and his future is bright. because he doesnt take himself seriously he needs family guidance but I think he has that - so its a blessing.

The biggest achievement in his life could be anything - he has a whole future ahead of him and he has gained a lot of fans and support.

You never really know - I wish people would stop spouting opinion as it were fact
