to the man i met near Highgate wood message board on weds 28 sept 2016

it was early
down was my covering hood
head spinning and all whirly
i am sure i slept in highgate wood.
but i was recycling
the government told me its my duty
a good few miles i was hiking
then i encountered my boss and he got fruity.
so its you he accused
i was caught red handed
a strain from me as i was confused
until the appreciation was handed.
the questions did flow
but myself i would not smudge
asking for my pic was a blow
please kind sir don't hold a grudge.

i am terrified of making people cross
