That girl really needs to develop a thick skin. I mean people don't even care about it anymore.

Jo O'Meara is in a desperate situation.

She made a MASSIVE mistake, of NOT, appreciating that even though she is NOT a racist person. People still got offended.

She came out of the Big Brother house, kind of smiling and laughing. Then, did that interview in the newspapers, saying that she is not sorry and that she'd do it all again.

Except from Jade's argument with Shilpa, Jade's conduct was certainly less than Jo's.

Jade Goody knew exactly what had happened. People have been offended. and did everything she could to help.

Jade has had to do many horrible interviews and also, visit India and face possible trouble too.

Jade is dedicated.

Jo O'Meara on the other hand, is still not a racist person and doesn't really deserve to be hated that much! However, because of her comments after the show, and in the papers & mags.

She is in serious trouble!

Death threats, short of cash, losing her home, total hatred, probably nuisence phone-calls/e-mail's? Jo is having to hide away.

After her suicide attempt and sinking that low, with depression and bad financial situation.

Jo O'Meara has had to sell her story! She has NO choice.

This will give her some cash and a chance to show the viewing public, of how this all happened.

A WARNING TO OTHERS.

Don't argue with someone of a different skin colour, on a reality show! It could turn into a racial scandal, Just like in January 2007.

Well I feel all of this is just silly now, I wouldn't choose to spend any time with Jade, nor do I wish her to be hated to the extent that she is,Jade seems to be quite resiliant though, unlike Jo,who is traumatized by all of this, I don't know how true the 'overdose' story is, either way the public are taking this too far, just let them get on with their lives! We don't have to buy their magazines,or perfume etc or watch them on tv, it's a personal choice, but they've both suffered enough! especially Jo who didn't even particiapate in the bashing of Shilpa nearly as much as Danielle did!

Let it go..

Jo can't help it that she's having reporters branging down her neck for her side of the story... she's accepting certain interviews so that reporters get her actual say rather than them going away and writing a load of crap where as with her doing interviews it saves them writing noncense. you've got to remember that danielle had to face all the same , but now that Jo has just came out of hiding, there now wanting her to answer the same questions!

Jo O'Meara will NOW do everything she can, to get her out of this mess.

She has seen Jade Goody on the TV and in the papers & mags and seen how Jade Goody is really fighting, but not winning much respect or even forgiveness.

Jo O'Meara has really fallen way down into deep depression. She doesn't know which way to turn.

I used to love, S Club 7 and when I heard that Jo was coming on the show, I was glad!

I was also disgusted by what I witnessed in January, but I still won't make judgements and say that she is generally like that in person.

She also, just like Jade Goody, does NOT deserve this.

It was NOT that serious

and Jo must pick herself up and fight her corner in the Newspapers & the Mags too.

I wish her well and even though, I am on here to support Jade Goody.

I AM WISHING "JO" A CHANCE TOO..

SHE NEEDS TO HAVE THAT "S CLUB 7" SMILE, BACK ON HER FACE, REAL SOON!!!

Jo will be forgotton about, and so therefore forgiven in that sense. People have already forgotton that Dani was even there and so all the blame will go to Jade.

I am glad that Danielle is happy and back to normal, I hope all 3 of the girls get back to normal. Shilpa's forgotten so we all should move on, and let everyone involved get back to their normal lives.

Ive seen pics of Jade happy with a new dog, so shes getting there.
Jo just needs some help and a push in the right direction now.

I read the story in the NOTW (2 pages centre spread), and to be honest, it's a load of bullshit. Apparently her friend didn't call an ambulance, after discovering Jo in the nick of time (conveniently), because Jo did not want the story to get out. But now 2 weeks later, she is giving an interview about it. Does that make sense to anyone?

YES!!

Jo O'Meara needs the cash and also needs to get her message across.

Her first two interviews were a disaster.

She wasn't like Jade Goody, who was straight in there with apologies. But she does have two children and had to be extra careful, to protect them.

Jade Goody has had her career affected, as well as her name.

Jo O'meara must fight and fight to give herself some selfconfidence. Suicide is not the solution.

Big Brother don't want that either.

TALK ABOUT SCANDAL!!! (If that happened!!)

I know that Jo O'Meara does have one true friend that would never turn her back on Jo.

Perhaps Jo has kept away from viewing the media? I won't go there.

However, her friend will fill her in, with bits & pieces and also, Jo's family and advisors, etc...

Jo has an uphill struggle. and she must let the News Of The World help her.

I DON'T TRUST NEWSPAPERS, I AM SORRY!!!

Jade Goody made that mistake and I am setting the story straight for her.

I am glad that, "Cindy" has stuck by her.

In this situation, you find out who your true friends are!

Sadly, The (News Of The World) is NOT Jo's friend.

They will come in with smiles and stab her in the back in return. WATCH OUT!!!

HOWEVER, THEY DON'T WANT TO CAUSE JO O'MEARA ANY STRESS RIGHT NOW. THAT IS NOT THEIR STYLE AND TOO RISKY!!!

THE INTERVIEW:-
-----------------------
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/stor...showbiz2.shtml

EXCLUSIVE

By James Desborough

BROKEN Celeb Big Brother star Jo O'Meara sobbed as she told for the first time how she gulped a lethal cocktail of booze and pills and lay waiting for death.
Tears tumbling down her cheeks, the former S Club singer confessed all about her spiral into a deep depression after being seen by TV millions as a racist bigot.

Click to watch Jo's emotional videos

She wept: "I wanted to kill myself. I'd had enough of that show and what it had done to me. I just couldn't carry on living.

"Channel 4 weren't there for me. They left me to die while they counted their pound notes and raved about ratings."

The tormented star revealed she:

LOCKED herself away and refused to go out.

FAILED in her suicide bid because a friend came home unexpectedly.

BELIEVES she was too psychologically fragile to go on the show

FEELS betrayed and abandoned by Big Brother bosses.
Between bouts of uncontrollable sobbing, humiliated Jo, 27, relived the nightmare day two weeks ago when she shuffled to the bathroom clutching a bottle of Teachers and the pills.

She said: "I was at an all-time low. I felt every day everyone was criticising me, I wondered if it would ever stop.

"When you've been put down all the time there is only one way out. I felt that taking my life would take that constant nagging pain away. In the bathroom I sat in the dark crying, feeling so lonely.

Sleepy

"I was in so much pain and just hurting. I couldn't believe what I'd become, and how I'd been shown on telly. I was shaking, but I poured the whisky into the glass. Then I just took one Nurofen, then another, then another.

"I was on Prozac so I knew I wasn't allowed to drink but I swallowed a quarter of the bottle. I thought this will take it all away and I'm out of it all then. I just felt, I can't keep going on and it can't get better.

"I went very sleepy, and it all started to become a blur. I could feel I was starting to drift off. I didn't care. All the suffering was slipping away." Luckily her best pal Cindy Lazarus, who'd been staying with her, returned home in the nick of time.

Jo recalled: "She saw the bottle and tablets all over the floor. She shook me and kept shaking me until it somehow brought me to life. It's just a blur to me, but I remember hearing her say my name over and over again.

"Cindy made me put my fingers down my throat and I was very badly sick. It was horrible, but I felt something inside me change.

"We just sat there hugging each other and crying. It just dawned on me how far this ridiculous TV show has pushed me. Cindy had her phone ready to dial 999 but I knew if I went to hospital it would get out and everyone would know. Things would be a million times worse, and I couldn't face that.

"Cindy kept tipping coffee down me until I was able to get up from the floor. I was very groggy but she kept talking to me and I pulled through.

"I hope I won't do that again. I know I went too far and it was my cry for help. I have good friends around me and I want to get through this and come out the other side. Because the last few weeks have been hell."

But Jo is still in denial about her behaviour on CBB and blames the show for her plight.

She raged: "All I wanted to do was relaunch my career and save my home. Instead I was turned into the most hated person in Britain. And for what? Nothing! I actually did hardly anything on that show, but it made me look like some monster.

"Then when the show finished playing with me like a puppet it abandoned me and left me to sort out my problems, knowing just how bad I'd become.

"Not one producer or boss at Channel 4 has sent me a card, email, flowers or note asking how I am. Their attitude is, ‘She's gone now, she's made us our money'. It's disgusting."

Tears

Jo had a nervous breakdown after the show when she found out she'd come over on TV as a racist bully.

She was sent secretly to a hotel in Hertfordshire for two weeks because of death threats. Jo recalls: "I remember being in the hotel room the next day shaking, crying and rocking in a chair.

"I was terrified of mirrors. I kept thinking cameras were behind them. Even though I was inside I thought I heard helicopters circling above me.

"I didn't want to eat and was too scared to go out. The only thing that I felt comfortable with was staring at this big tree out of the window of the hotel.

"My head was buzzing but looking at that tree seemed to calm me down. It had a hold on me, but that felt good.

"I couldn't get over how I'd been treated and shown as such a horrible person on TV. I know I'm not that person."

CBB makers Endemol sent a psychologist to visit her three days after her release.

Furious Jo claimed: "He said I should never have gone on that show because I wasn't mentally stable enough. That shocked me.

"I only had a quick 10-minute chat with him just before I went in the house on the opening night.

"He admitted that, given more time to assess me beforehand, he would never have let me enter the CBB house.

"It's disgraceful someone can slip through the net on a show that prides itself on its support for people's mental welfare. They've failed me.

"By that stage I was having eight panic attacks a night. I'd wake up thinking there were people looking at me in the dark — like the camera operators in the house.

"I cried a lot while he was there for an hour. But all they gave me was two sleeping tablets to help me for the next nights."

Jo saw the psychologist once more a week later. He suggested she visited her GP, who then put her on the anti-depressant Prozac.

She returned to her four-bedroom home in Essex and her contact with the show's bosses all but ended.

She said: "I was abandoned. I was simply chewed up and spat out by Channel 4. I remember when I left that house, and I was in floods of tears, they promised they'd take care of me.

"They know full well how much I've suffered in the last few weeks but they've done nothing for me. If I'd relied on Channel 4 it's likely I would no longer be in this world.

Demons

"They see it as an entertainment series where they can tease and torment contestants. Everything is manipulated in there. The show knows how to pull the strings, so you do what they say without even realising it.

"Some days they'd lock you in a room for hours to provoke reactions between people and then we'd be woken by sounds of babies crying, people vomiting or wailing animals. It was mental warfare.

"They control your lives like they are God. They knew we were vulnerable in there and shamelessly exploited it. I was put through the meat grinder and almost lost everything for this poxy show."

Incredibly, Jo's state of mind has been further rocked because she still hasn't received her Ł40,000 fee for the show. She said: "I can't work at the moment. I'm not confident enough to walk in public, let alone perform. "

Jo blames the editing of her conversations with Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd for making them look like bullies ganging up on Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty.

But she believes her suicide bid could've been averted had someone explained the impact the show had on the outside world.

Finally, summoning a smile, she added: "The good news is I'm getting better although I'm still nervous of people.

"But I'd never wish anyone to experience what I have thanks to that show. It will haunt me for the rest of my life".

A Channel 4 spokesman said last night: "A senior producer and the psychologist have maintained regular contact with Jo through her representatives. The psychologist has made additional offers of support which Jo has not yet taken up. Her fee is being processed."
