From the currant bun:
CORRIE’S Kate Ford has landed a bodyguard after confused fans hurled abuse at her during filming because of her murder plotline. They yelled “murderer” and “rot in hell” as Kate, 29, arrived to film her character Tracy Barlow’s trial in Bradford. A show source said: “Some fans have been getting a bit over-excited, shouting things at her. “One woman screamed, ‘You murdering bitch’ and Kate was quite rattled. “Bosses decided she could do with some tighter security just in case anyone does anything silly.” This is a prime example of how some people confuse fiction on TV with reality. What the hell is going on with some people? |

Omg! there's some crazy people around, instead of giving Kate security, throw those loonies in the nuthouse where they belong.I mean seriously, should people who are not able to differentiate reality with TV be aloud to walk around?

On the news on Radio 1 just now, it said ITV are denying the claims. Now there's a surprise!
