The have-a-go heroes’ moment was marred however as Ryan’s bag was stolen from the scene TWO X Factor stars were hailed as heroes for dashing to the aid of an elderly woman who had fallen into the road this morning. The pair comforted the old woman as they waited for help to arrive Solo singer Ryan Lawrie, 20, and Kieran Alleyne, 21, from boyband 5 After Midnight assisted the pensioner after she slipped over a kerb. The pair – both performers in this year’s ITV competition – managed to help her to her feet and placed her onto a chair, which was borrowed from a nearby bank. She is believed to have cut her hand and had puffy eyes. Pictures from the scene showed the lads crouching down and comforting the lady, aged in her 80s, during the incident in Barnet, North London, at 11.30am. ![]() ![]()

While it was very commendable for these lads to help the lady who fell. The title 'Have a go heroes' is a bit misleading isn't it?
Who were they having a go at? Whilst helping someone is a very good thing, it''s hardly 'heroic'. |
