cutting bus services = less poetry addicts to the village 12.11.16

on behalf of the country
in goes the beak
rural bus routes should be sovereignty
these proposals are so bleak.
if from A to B is your travel
and it is a 5 mile stint
its impossible by foot gravel
not even thinking carbon foot print.
your choice is taken
this government is using violence
unless you ride a wild boar to collect your bacon
copy and post my words and don't rely on silence.
the old community depend
it is there legs you are chopping
village to village to have tea with a friend
shame on the UK for stopping.
what about the addicts

this is heart break that inflicts
no cuts to any bus service is sounding in highgate village.


( i saw this on the news this very morning and i was deeply effected by it. i have try ed to add some humor to it ! but as per - it does not work well. all we seem to get in this country is cuts to everything and this is seriously effecting peoples life's and mental health as i explain in my poem - ie going to have tea with a friend in next village - it may not seem allot to most but to a isolated old person - this could be the only pleasurable thing of the day - week etc. i am calling for action and i have posted my poem to HMP ie this government and i have warned them others might to the same. i am not sure if it will have any effect but please feel free to copy and paste my poem via this web site and if they see a big response - they may not do these brutal cuts. you can email them direct via this web addy = https://email.number10.gov.uk/ and when this does get into the best village in the world - I no compassion and understanding will for sure come from the reader and they will be thinking - don't cut the bus service cut this poetry ????. )
