Lame attempt to try and get a Christmas number 1 again?

Plus it seems more suited to Matt.

Why didn't both get to perform it?

They SHOULD both have got to perform it as that used to be the way. It is CERTAINLY just written to be number one at Christmas and I guess they thought by mentioning Christmas it will do it. Its a song for Ed himself not powerful enough to make any impact I think

I've wanted them to make the winner's single a Christmas song for yeaaaars, and the fact it's an original too is great

I know people are disappointed but it really isn't that bad a song. Hopefully they continue like this from now on

I do agree that they both should've performed it though, I really don't like that...it's a staple of X Factor and should remain so
