Looking at his twitter I can believe what he's saying that it was just a coincidence and the producers didn't know when they selected them, I know it's big coincidence but given they were playing on the whole 'people having connections' thing I think they'd have included that as being one of them if they'd known. Makes me groan a bit that they obviously covered it up in the show's edit after the fact but I don't think it's that much of a big deal tbh. I don't think there's anything 'set up' about it.

I'm not buying all of this. BB is not one to ignore some potential links to the HMs and surely Ryan and Hughie would have talked about dating in the first few hours of being there. I can't see HMs like Natalie keeping quiet about this either especially since none of it made the highlights and accusations of unfair advantages can be thrown about as it was portrayed as a raw romance...

That's true as well, I mean one of the ways they recruit is through the Star Now website so they're targeting a circuit where many of the same people will come into contact from time to time.
