I come to these forums because I'm a big Big Brother fan and it's nice to be in a place with like minded people. But the abundance of posts like this put me off every time. It's like stepping back in time coming on here sometimes.

Are we really at a point in 2017 where we are still slating women for looking different without makeup? I would think this was satire if this was tumblr. Sadly, things are different here it seems.

I am stating a fact. She looks very different without make up than when she does have make up on.

Why can't people handle a fact???

If however I was to say something rude about her sexuality, or bedding regime, then that would be making allegations.

Fantastic post.

The constant posts and immature digs at housemates appearance actually sicken me and do put me off posting in threads like that.

It adds nothing at all to a discussion and the threads normally turn into tit for tat posts between different sets of fans.

Also would like to remind everyone that yes negative comments about housemates are fine of course but over the top comments about appearance, constant childish name calling and post after post that contributes nothing will be dealt with.

Sadly TIBB is full of people that use threads to make fun of others to feed their own sad lives. And before you all start, I dont cast stones, I answer back with venom, there is a difference to starting an argument and answering back a troll. Too many one liner posters on here inviting an argument, these need pulling up. For example....

Thread starts that someone is a this and that etc etc.....

One liner comes back, ''yeah he is a homophobe'' or a stupid gif or emoji puts in an appearance

Boom the **** flies. This is why TIBB is quiet, one liner trolls are afforded too much grace.

It gets worse every year, I used to look forward to on season but nowadays I dread it because it's just constant misery. This forum can be a really nasty, bitter, bile filled place and in all honesty it's just draining.

I'd like to hope Josy's post will mean that finally pointless threads that slate housemates appearances just for the fun of it will come to an end, but we'll see. There's just no need for it, it's like being in a school playground
