Default UK Waters Fishing Zones (yes thats OUR right)

Now some EU nations are
already getting Hostile right now

Fine Get your Anger out.

But do not Stop Our Fishing Boats
in UK waters
Is that CLEAR
thats our red line.

Now Our Military and Small Navy boats
will ensure Our Waters are for UK Customers only
that includes other nations we own
like our Falklands and Friends of the UK who we
export to.

But so far nothing has happened, so absolutely nothing should have changed, regarding fishing waters or anything else.

I'm pretty sure cod doesn't respect red lines, arista. Their maps would get all soggy.

Can you be more specific about what the problem is Arista? What has France said about fishing? I'm not seeing a link.

We are lucky there is any cod left after EU overfishing. Cod has barely recovered from being endangered.

Thankfully all of the cods will now be safe inside of the red line and definitely won't swim randomly around the ocean with no regard for national boundaries entirely imagined and defined by humans, then.

Surprisingly fish aren't all that random. They have areas where they like to live and spawn.

If other countries can have boundaries why can't we? I don't see your logic.
Though actually if we are going to go there about boundaries defined by humans then the rest of the UK would be more than happy to take Scotland's boundaries and ocean rights if you don't want it. I'm sure we can find a use for the oil.

If countries can have fishing quotas why is it fair that France has double our quota?

I find the concept that a country can "own" fish that happen to fall within a certain area sort of ludicrous if I think about it too much, but then, the entire concept of nationstates and borders is sort of insane too when it comes right down to it. They don't exist anywhere other than in our imaginations... and yet they are a huge part of how the world works. To be fair, I do appreciate that, it's the only way a world populated by 7 billion humans can function (temporarily), when it realistically isn't able to naturally support more than a few million.
