Has anyone else gone off posting in the CBB forum becuase of these stupid debates between nodis and some other members?

I have TBH it's annoying me now, but I'm just going to ignore it.

I don't post in there much anyway, but I have to admit that he is annoying me with his long-winded posts. I tend to ignore them for the most part, but it's hard to ignore when it starts up an argument between him and the other people involved.

I would just much rather it stopped to be honest. CBB is over, and we will get an influx of people joining this site when BB8 starts, and it would be a shame if they were put off by the atmosphere currently hanging over this place.

Yep. To be honest though, talking in the BB threads once that particular BB finishes, tends to wear off anyway. But this time around, OMG! In one of those threads I've posted like 5 times with proper ESSAYS... and even then I doubt what I've said has been listened to because it's not made an awful lot of difference in the end result. It's really annoying. By all means people are entitled to their own opinions and can post things. But like, even when certain members have said they won't be coming on anymore because it's getting so ridiculous, their posts aren't treated seriously and nodisharmony in particular still continues.

I agree with you all. There are things that the guy needs to explain about himself but instead he simply waffles on and on. I'm prepared to throw down with him as long as he's so vague about his views on certain subjects. I'm sorry if this upsets members on the forum but he needs to understand that we don't accept his waffle with it underlying racist tones.

I never posted in there anyway. I hate the fact that the new members join and just insult everyone/thing. I know it's a popular forum, and people are bound to join, but it just annoys me the way they treat the place. Without realising how much work is actually put into making the forum.

Yea, but now it seems that were all picking on nodis. It's not just him, it takes more than one to debate/argue and all of the blame seems to be put completly on him. I think I'm just going to shut my mouth now.

No. Soph, you were right to start this thread. The person in question has gone on a Jade rant from the day he registered on the forum. He's got many people backs up. He needs to know the impact of his obsession.

I don't really post in that section any longer mainly due to that series being over and done with for months now and secondly because of all the silly debates that have been started recently without much meaning but seemingly a whole load of content that just seems to be waffling, I cannot be bothered to get into that.

I apologise for my part in those debates. However, I have to say that I don't think people are really picking on nodisharmony. He has been rude and untruthful about people on the forum. Also, if anyone disagrees with his opinion, he turns snide. And if anyone makes a good point that he doesn't agree with, he just completely ignores it or rubbishes it.

I personally like to hear the opinions of people who don't have the same opinions as me. Most people on here will chat and either agree to disagree, but with him, it's as though if you don't agree with him, you are wrong, and as far as he is concerned, that's all there is to it.

I've come on here to say sorry to the people who it has upset, and now I'm off again.
