Default Desperate Houswives - Best Season?

I am a huge fan of DH and I was wondering what season everyone thinks is the best? Season 1 I really liked, Season 2 was a bit dull but Season 3 is AMAZING! The hold up at the grocery store was fabulous and I got tingles when Lynette found the pictures of the teen boys in the basement.

I've seen a couple from 1 + 2, but seen all from 3 so I might be biased.

But 3 - is amazing!

I'd have to say season 1 - it was brilliant, but it was all downhill after that.

Sorry but I agree with Ruth. Season 1 was amazing. The was a real sense of the macabre in season 1, season 2 was to jokey while in season 3 the macabre has turned to pure sensationalism.

Really!!?

Season 1 was by far the absolute best!!
No offence but the other 2 were a joke! They were chessy and lost all the originality the first season had, it became just a general drama show. A massive shame.

Series 3 gave me a real variety, and I felt it was funnier and more emotional than the other two.

For example - the part where Nora died in Lynette's arms, Edie hanging herself, and how the paedophile got away made me feel really sad
