Default Amy Willerton joins The Jump after Vogue Williams quits

Quote:
Model Amy Willerton has joined The Jump 2017 line up after one celeb was forced to quit.

Earlier tonight The Jump 2017 lost its first contestant after a knee injury forced Vogue Williams to leave the competition ahead of launch night.

The new series of the winter sports contest does not hit our screens until Sunday, but it has already suffered its first disaster.

According to The Sun, Vogue seriously damaged her knee yesterday after enduring a heavy fall while training for the ski cross.

The Irish model has now had to withdraw from the show as she receives treatment for her injury.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "Vogue fell during training for ski cross yesterday injuring her knee which sadly means she can no longer continue in the competition."

Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Amy is now stepping in to take Vogue's place.

Amy had already been in training alongside Vogue and the other celebs as a standby contestant in case of injury.

Although we don't imagine she ever expected to be called upon before the first episode!

Amy said: “This experience has gone from being an exciting over extended ski holiday to suddenly overnight throwing myself into competition mode - but I'm so so ready for that challenge!

“I hope I can do Vogue proud,” she added.

Hopefully the other celebs will make it to launch night in one piece
!

Feel sorry for her...

Lowering herself so much by going on a show where you're more likely to break your neck, get paralysed or die. Any sane celebrity would never touch this rubbish with a barge pole.

If I were a celeb, i'd do CBB, at least I wouldn't have to worry about being airlifted to hospital and breaking my spine.

I'd predict that almost half of this year's celebrities will injure themselves and be forced to quit.
