So if all they do is choreographed, this can be seen as some as staged, ergo fake. So if they are acting out fake scenarios, we must then ask ourselves why. Is it for fun or self promotion. Its one thing to have fun, piss people off, act like a tosser and basically be a dick for effect, but to drive people nuts with inane baby talk and american accents for effect is one bridge too far.

''Are you all right Edward, yes I am John, shall we dance in the mirror and sing some really cool songs, yes Edward that will be cool, can we also piss nicola off when we are doing it, thats a swell idea bro, lets do it.. and so the deadwood act goes on. Basically they are man children with enormous egos and the worst comic act going.
Why do people take CBB so seriously?

Congrats on stating the obvious

Also, the right to an opinion goes both ways. Sam is entitled to his opinion and I'm entitled to comment on it.

Of course I did. My response was asking why people take CBB that seriously.

I couldn't imagine having the energy to write an essay on why I hate a CBB housemate.

What is a 'normal' 25 year old? I've seen women and men of this age so drunk they can't walk home near the local pubs and clubs. Is that 'normal'?

I know. At the end of the day they seem happy a whole lot more happy than any other person in that house, that's what I want for my kids, it's the most important thing in life imo

That's their brand and they play up to it. Same as most of them. Nicola's playing to her bitch brand...she openly says it. Even boring Calum was playing to his "I'm a gentleman" brand.

You either like them or you don't. Personally, I'm not on the pro-Jedward side (they annoy me to no end) but I'm on the anti-Nicola/Coleen side.

What's that saying? "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" (or something like that).

It's a social experiment...the forum is there for us to discuss housemates and judge them and comment on their behaviour and reactions. Some on this forum do it better than others and I love reading posts like that. It's part of it...we are all entitled to take as seriously and light hearted as we like. Why question someone's debate and depth they wish to go in analysing someone?? Sampvt makes some great points.

I think peoples problem with them lies in the fact that they don't see them as 25 yr olds, the reason for this i believe not to be their maturity levels but the fact that they don't look 25.

take the bathing and gstring episode where they were having a laugh, i read a few derogotary comments on here about how it looked..i doubt anything would have been said if it were a more muscular 25yr old doing the same thing.

i may be wrong though, but i don't think i am.
Exactly, great post again.

I always say I get people may not get them and not like them as an act.

However the mental health inferences,.the sick near incest insinuations and also the shocking, just in my view, accusations against the character of their Mum are for me, way out of line.

I have not read any character assassinations of their mum.The fact that she is their mum is academic. She is their manager, she pays herself a big wage and for the last 2 years their brand Planet Jedward has shown losses in excess of 250,000 while she still gets paid. Go figure that one. Secondly these poor kids have been pushed and guided for many years to provide wages for all around them and \i call this exploitation when it interferes with the way they have been made to grow up. If they were allowed to grow into adults, they wouldnt feel it necessary to baby speak or dance in the mirror and play dressy uppie.

I do have one in his twenties, yes. He is a wonderful son, works very hard in his career, still likes his mum to tickle his feet when he's sprawled on the sofa. Not seeing why it's relevant though.

This on season will be remembered differently to a lot of the others. Not in terms of the obsessive vitriol towards the housemates for once - although inevitably there's still been plenty of that - but in terms of people bandying about terms like 'real men' and 'normal 25 year old men' that they are seemingly unable to qualify.

Four weeks have passed and I am still yet to learn of what exactly constitutes a 'real' man (and indeed why that would be so), or what behaviour men at the age of 25 are and are not allowed to engage in, and also what exactly 'normal' entails. It shall forever remain a mystery

You have said on here that she helps herself to their fortune.
Twice at least I have said I hope you had evidence to back up your accusations.
Even above you infer she takes money she shouldn't.
Susannah takes what her Sons tell her to.
In business terms, and business is up and down all the time, £250,000 are not great losses and far from being able to rebuild.

Their own wealth, thanks in part to their Mum's advice and guidance, remains intact.

You say poor boys in your post.
Lads you question the mental health of and choose to put down in extreme terms and insinuate their own Mum uses them.
Unbelievable.
