Any job is doable if you want to.

People don't spend 10 years training to be a brain surgeon for fun they do it because they really want to do it

You misunderstand... Your premise was that Brits don't want to do dirty jobs, my example was mining which was a very dirty job, one that many generations did before outsourcing.

It wasn't always going to die, Britain sits on top of miles of coal rich seams, and industry still rely heavily on it.

As marsh said do you think any unskilled unemployed Brit can become a farmer?

Yeah, the key in that sentence is "training".

A lot of jobs cost a fortune to train in or require people already with certain qualities and qualifications.

Your outlook on life is extremely simplistic.

The reason for this is the new generation

Back then miners had to do the job to earn because there was no benefit system.

Parents who had farms would make there son become a farmer they had no choice.

Now a day we have all sorts of technology and free money that the younger generation is more likely to be lazy hence why the drop in people studying for skilled jobs.

Some youngsters though will stop at nothing to achieve dreams.

That is why we need to let them know being lazy is no option and they will have to work or will get no money

Quick question, are there enough jobs for everyone to do?

That's neither here nor there. That makes it a family business. So you have one young lad of benefits, what about the rest?

Immigrants can only claim benefits for an incredibly short amount of time and if they don't find a job by the end of that period then their job search visa will be voided. The money a typical person gets from benefits is barely enough to live on, nobody's gonna set up shop here just to sponge off benefits that are only just enough to live on especially when they'll be given the boot in a few weeks time if they don't show results.

Honestly, people need to stop using benefits as an excuse to validate their xenophobia. If you took a second to google what immigrants are entitled to you'd see that it's basically **** all which makes the idea of immigrating just to live off benefits pointless.

EU citizens are entitled to more benefits then those out of the EU.

As i said we need to fix the people in this country instead of putting them last

You've just called the majority of British benefit claimants lazy and work shy.

Now they're the neglected ones?

You can't have it both ways.

I have explained before on this thread that the country is already over popularised and because of that so many families are living in poverty.

Poverty should not exist in Britain in 2017

These are just generic statements though, would you like to be more specific?

Are they poor due to a lack of job opportunities? That would affect the benefit claimants too.

Wrong. EU Immigrants are only entitled to similar benefits as British citizens if they are working and contributing otherwise they get the same window of opportunity to claim jobseekers as any other immigrant and they too need to show results in that period or have their visa revoked plus before they can claim anything they need to pass a test first.

To think that immigrants come to this country just to scrape by on benefits for three months (which they aren't even guaranteed to get in the first place) before getting the boot is just plain silly.

I'm not going back that far, there was a benefit system.
Being raised on a farm is different to working on a farm, how has this thread turned from bashing foreigners to the unemployed to young people, are we playing daily mail bingo? as I think I have a full house.

It is due to many things but mainly that the governments over the last 10-15 years did not care for everyday brits

If you don't wish to elaborate on your statements and contribute to the discussion what are you doing here?

Questioning and discussing = childish attacks. Sure dude.
