And after facing criticism by trolls on the outside world, the model has since opened up about why she covered her face – revealing she's virtually BLIND in her right eye due to a rare condition.
The 35 year old even admitted her sight had deteriorated just two months before entering the Channel 5 show.
Nicola confessed: "I have always had bad eyesight in my left eye, but my right eye has always been fine.
"Then about two months before Big Brother I noticed my eyesight changing.



"Now I can barely see out of this eye, I’m talking barely see, I’ve got a contact in it now.
"Basically what’s happened is, this right eye, I can’t see out of but it’s also developed an adult squint, which is so rare," she continued to The Sun.

And Nicola went on to talk about her infamous argument with Kim Woodburn – where she was seen covering her right eye throughout the blazing row.
"That’s why I was so paranoid about it," she continued. "As what would happen is, I would take the contact lens out, get in bed, then all the arguments would kick off so I’d have to cover my eye.

"I can’t focus with it, so it wanders, without glasses or a contact it just wanders everywhere because I can’t see out of it."
The blonde bombshell confessed that the doctors believe it could be pregnancy-related diabetes, from when she had her two children, Rocky and Striker.

And although her adult squint is fixable, it won’t aid her vision issues.
She confessed: "The muscles at the back need to be tightened and that will rectify it being straight, but I still won’t be able to see out of it.

"So we need to work out why the vision’s gone from being OK to so bad.
"I’m OK because with a contact or my glasses it’s fine, mine’s not a lazy eye it’s a proper squint, so if I took my contact lens out now it would just wander
"It can be corrected but it’s very, very rare to get an adult squint so that’s what it was, I didn’t want to be on tele with an eye wandering so I’d cover it.
"If I don’t cover the right one I can’t see out of the left one, because when the right one shuts down the left one does, so I needed to cover the right to be able to see.

"It is quite bad but I’ll be able to get it sorted."
She continued: "It all happened so quickly before Big Brother.
"I had contacts but the air conditioning was making my contacts dry, so Tom had to get me glasses made and sent into the house, which is why I only started wearing them half way through."

All sounds a bit suspicious to me.
She is hardly bloody blind if she can see with a contact lens or glasses...this coming from someone with less than 17% vision in both eyes until my op last month. No contact lens or glasses could improve the blindness.

Sad fact of life...many people have issues and health issues. They often make you a better person. Unfortunately she is still a bitter person and she is still a nasty individual.
Nicola manipulates people and situations at every opportunity...why bring this up now???
It's sad...but try being a better person and stop trying to get sympathy to justify bad behaviour.

If she can see with the aid of glasses and contact lenses, then she has bad vision like a LOT of people out there who need to wear such things.

I didnt like her too much, but I can sympathise.

It makes complete sense that she would close an eye if she didnt have contacts in. Its probably headache-inducing seeing fine with one eye and blurry with the other.
