Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has wowed US television viewers - with the help of a brand new leg. The amputee skipped through the latest round of Dancing With The Stars after an energetic jive with partner Jonathan Roberts. She was aided by a more flexible prosthetic which she had fitted specially for the performance to be more bouncy. The verdict of the judges was: "Fantastic." Bruno Tonioli called her "the incredible Heather Mills", adding: "One, two, three legs... I don't care how many - you did a fantastic job." Fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba said: "That was fantastic. You add difficulty where you don't need to because you are so good." Ms Mills scored 24 points out of 30 - putting her in joint first place at the end of Monday night's programme. The scoring was endorsed by members of the audience when they cast their votes. Former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey lost her place on the show after a dance-off. Next week, 39-year-old Ms Mills will perform either the paso doble or the waltz. |
