Default sadiq kahn's book

I recently discovered that the mayor of London sadiq kahn wrote a book in 2003 on how to sue the police Now he is in charge of the Metropolitan police It's also quite unsettling to realise how involved he was with support for islamic radicals like Yusuf al-qaradawi. With a history like that how on earth did he manage to get elected as mayor of London.?

Don't be too surprised. Jeremy Hunt wrote a book about wanting to dismantle and replace the NHS. He's now the ****ing Health Secretary .

Er, because his main opponent ran the most abhorrent, racist, dog whistle campaign in recent history and the people of London are better than to suck the proverbial dick of someone like that

Not to mention calling moderate muslims "Uncle Toms".

That comment was from an interview last September. And he never said that "terrorist attacks are part and parcel of living in a big city". He said "the threat of terrorist attacks are part and parcel of living in a big city.

Trump's son started this rumour by tweating an edited edition of a quote from six months ago.

Edited: What Khan actually said:

I think that statement was last year, but still, not the sort of thing you want to hear from the Mayor of a major city.

He did also say, not long ago, that "London proves Trump wrong"

You mean this man? http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopo...t30n-8-web.jpg

The Republican Leader's son is a racist piece of **** and what he had to say about our Mayor is an offence to all Londoners.

Ah, you mean a 'racist piece of ****'

Na! racist pieces of **** have always been that way, they were just too cowardly to hark on about it before for fear of being named and shamed. Since the likes of Hopkins and Farage, we are seeing a lot more bravery from those who used to have to hide their prejudices.

Excellent point, I feel the same the prejudiced and bigoted already feel vindicated as the right wing media is perpetuates stereotypes, with subsections of society regularly held up for hatred/scrutiny/mockery.

Since those two have (for reasons unknown) become the nations mouthpiece the hate does seem almost tangible, I hate that these people are thought of as 'traditionally British'!
There is nothing British about them.

What he said was an offence to Khan, not all Londoners. According to some it seems only certain minorities can express their prejudices , the rest are expected to button it. When pushed too far the West find a voice. Nothing wrong with that. Personally I hate all this hate of The West by both the locals and the non-locals.

Oh they will find a voice.. like they did with the poll tax I hope, look at how we band together in a crisis whatever our religious or cultural background ...that's not because of the govt and it's warmongering, no, it's in spite of it!

By the reaction Trumps son got from Londoners, I would say they're pretty much incensed. The tweets on Twitter are hugely reassuring btw, but I doubt you'd agree.

Trumps son tweeted about something that happened a year ago. That wasn't only callous, it was using a tragic opportunity to score points.

What do you mean by the West pushed too far? Are you suggesting that what
Donald JR tweeted was helpful or acceptable at times like this?

I was responding to the first post about Sadiq kahn's support for Islamic radicals and the general view that the increasing incidents of terrorist attacks and threats just succeed it making the West less and less tolerant of this religion.

I don't know why you thought I was commenting on Trump's son's comments. I have no idea what he said and don't particularly care.
