Imo OJ Simpson was 100% guilty. He had amazing Lawyers who were able to smear the case by raising the possibilities of DNA contamination and a Police evidence set up.There was no concrete proof of either.
It is also true that the murderer's glove was a very tight fit on OJ , but it was dried out and blood stained. As the defense lawyer said to the jury ` if the glove don't fit you must acquit` However the evidence against him , both physical and circumstantial was completely overwhelming. His estranged wife Nichole had been beaten many times by him previously and was so scared for her life that she sealed photos of her injuries and put them in a safety deposit box-they were later shown in court. OJ was due to catch a flight and booked a Chauffeur who arrived early and found no answer at the front door. About 15 minutes later he saw a tall well built African American looking man walk in through OJ's front door dressed all in black. The chauffeur buzzed the door bell again and after 5 minutes OJ appeared, explaining that he had been in the shower. When OJ left he had one extra suitcase which he did not have by the time of his of his arrival and this was never accounted for. It was always thought by the prosecution that this was the bag with the weapon and/ or the dark clothes. However a blood soaked sock was still found in his bedroom. OJ acquired a strong gash to his finger on the day of the stabbing which he accounted for as a shaving accident. The man with Nichole who was also killed was a large well built man and there were signs of a struggle. There were footprints in blood left behind at the scene that matched a very rare pair of trainers, the same make as OJ had been photographed wearing at a ball game earlier that year and published. OJ was unable to account for the whereabouts of the trainers that he had once owned. Although it was heavily challenged there was a complete DNA blood match between all three persons. The most convincing evidence for me was the clean cut chauffeur with no motive for lying, who explained the slightly eerie sight of a man walking into oj,s house dressed in all in black. This could only have been OJ returning from the crime. It was definitely him because there was no one else in the house and therefore he was also lying about something. OJ was eventually arrested after he was found driving along the highway with a gun at his head threatening to shoot himself, and this surely isn't how an innocent man would have reacted . I watched this case out of curiosity and was disappointed that the one and only case that I will ever probably watch in the so called free world ended in what I thought to be a complete injustice to the two victims. It shouldn't be overlooked that he later lost the civil case and was told to pay something like $30m. I don't know if this bit is true but I heard that OJ once said `well if it was me, you would have to call it the perfect murder` In fact the murder was crap and all went wrong because of the extra man with Nichole. It took longer than he planned and he himself got cut giving even more credence to the glove falling off rather than being planted by the police as was suggested with great success. I think he was Guilty m'lady. Happy Easter to all at TIBB. |

I agree with JC on this one. There was overwhelming evidence against OJ yet madly he walked from the courts a free man. It sometimes baffles me that Juries can be directed to set someone free who is obviously guilty.
Cuts to hands, blood on his driveway and in his bedroom, footprints that matched his own shoes, all added together with other evidence gives a guilty man IMO. |

JC said it all. FFS Stropz did you watch the trial? There was more than enough evidence to convict him?

He is guilty as hell an I have proof. Well I don't but Armando Iannucci (comedy god) does.
