Is anyone else REALLY bad about actually finishing games? I feel like I need to commit to actually finishing games that I've started . I still haven't finished Horizon and I keep being tempted to play other things... but I'm committed to seeing out the story for once!

I also haven't finished FFXV despite planning to do so when the patch was released ... over 2 months ago. I've started The Witcher 3 and played probably two thirds of it... three times... and still haven't finished it. Didn't finish Resi 7 either. ... Didn't finish Uncharted 3, moved on to Uncharted 4. Didn't finish that either.

The Steam thread got me looking at my Steam list and there are so many games that I've started and never finished. And I don't mean crappy ones that I wasn't enjoying - there are over a dozen that I have played 20+ hours on, got more than half way through, sometimes even been probably a couple of hours play at most from the end but I just seem to have a thing for bailing at the last second .

In fact I think the last game I actually DID play from start to finish was The Last Of Us, years ago...

i only ever commit to 1 game at a time and tend to complete it even if i'm not totally enjoying it lol

if it's really pants i just stop playing and sell it

I'm the same, it can take me years to complete games. And a lot I just never get round to finishing

Though I did recently start and finish the entire Uncharted series within about three months, which is unusual for me!

From the current generation (ie PS4 games I own) I've started and not finished:

- Fallout 4
- Far Cry 4
- The Last of Us
- Watch Dogs 2 (near enough to the end of that, though)

Only ones I have finished are GTA, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Batman: Arkham Knight lol.... very close to finishing ME: Andromeda too. Need to finish those 4 above before I buy another tbh (although I do really want Dishonored 2)

I feel like I need to start doing this, haha. I am committed to finishing Horizon, but I'm already feeling the pull of Mass Effect Andromeda... which I have started . I feel like Horizon is an exception though because I'm still enjoying the gameplay enough for it to never feel like a grind. I would have finished FFXV too if they hadn't announced the Chapter 13 patch, as I stopped at Chapter 9 to wait for it but had gotten into other games by the time it was released .

I feel like I need to finish FFXV before I start anything new but I already know I probably won't...

Though Shaun's list has just reminded me that TLOU isn't actually the last game I finished - I've finished Watch Dogs (the first one, even though it wasn't all that good, but it came with my PS4 sooo...), Fallout 4 and Arkham Knight since then. Arkham Knight is bugging me on my steam list though because I actually only need to finish up the Riddler challenges to 100% it ... but I hate them. But I so rarely 100% games that having it sit at like 97% is really bugging me .

I also just remembered that I've played the first half of The Witcher 2 maybe five or six times over the last decade but still have no idea how it ends (other than what's covered in TW3).

I also only finished Mass Effect 1 for the first time (having started it many times) after finishing Mass Effect 2... twice.

This madness needs to end .

I have a lot of unfinished games to complete because i get bored of it and move onto a next game i have managed to complete like 3 games since i got a PS4 lol and i have like 17 games

I tend to focus on one game until it's finished. The only time I won't finish a game is if i've grown to dislike it.

I saw the title and was gonna tell a cute story about how a card-game app i liked started spamming me with ads so i uninstalled it.. but you meant actual games lol

Happens to me with all modern games. Give me something from the Mega Drive or Super Nintendo and I'll finish it in an afternoon
