Default Most countries in EU have only taken 10% of migrant quotas

http://www.westmonster.com/polish-re...igrant-quotas/

Poland may have a referendum on migrant quotas which would likely represent another rejection of EU policy and be a sign that the people of Europe have had enough of being dictated to.

Poland state that to be forced to take in more migrants would violate their human rights. They would prefer to face sanctions than accept more refugees. Most EU counties have only taken in 10% of their migrant quotas including Britain.

Most of these 'refugees' are from non- war torn countries and are economic migrants - not refugees. Why is Britain not challenging this with more vigour?

Then that is immigration, how hard is is not to confuse the two?
If they are not refugees then they will be sent back... obviously.

Did Poland have a hand in creating the refugee crisis initially?... We did, then figuratively consecutive govts have stood by with eyes closed and fingers in their ears.

Does 'refugee' status cover criminals with violent backgrounds i.e. warlords and others. If so, why should we or anyone else take them in with the obvious risk they pose. Also there must be a lot of very violent men from these countries who haven't been convicted as the system is weak and ineffective and likely corrupt.

We really don't know who/what we are getting and these people will be walking freely on our streets. Are you totally at ease with that? Many aren't.

The whole immigration system in this country is completely flawed and indirectly racist anyway. I have a personal situation where a family member is in love with someone of a different race from a non EU country and the hoops they are expected to jump through just for the foreign national to get even a tourist visa to come here is ridiculous. Immigration officers from this country have even harassed her at work because her job involves stopovers in the UK and had for 5 years before she applied for a holiday Visa to visit her boyfriend, accusing her of planning to abscond while here. It's absolutely disgusting even though people do the right thing, are honest that they are in a relationship and put in the right applications. It seems completely skewed against anyone not from the EU.

I think a fairer system would be balanced in favour of skills, qualifications and treat those who fall in love with UK Nationals with a bit more kindness and respect wherever they are from. I hope Poland stand up to the EU because all the forced immigration will just make it harder and harder for others.

I really am immune to that kind of hypocritical attempted insult now so don't waste your time.

Many parts of Africa are lawless and many of the people who help make it so will try to get into Europe. Are you really that naive?

theres way more real racism in most european countries than UK. Im proud of our tolerance to a degree...But We're frankly idiotic over our immigration policy. near 10 million population rise in just over 20 years for a small island is pure insanity? that includes millions of illegal immigrants with no paperwork
