Didn't this happen with BB11..? Or was the just billed as random people from the crowd? I have a very sketchy memory of that series. It's the only one I've never gone back and rewatched

They invited 90 people to the crowd and told them who had made it and then pulled a random housemate from a tumbler although they fixed that

Why would they bother to fix it? They could've just said BB has also picked the mole.

They simply only informed the housemates they had been picked during the launch.

But the housemates themselves already had a good idea they had been picked anyway due to things said to them by producers etc, the launch was just for effect.
