Default Spiders, funnel-web & other scary spiders

Nobody really likes "Spiders", least of all myself

The Funnel-Web is deadly and in Australia, you'd better shake out your slippers, before putting them on, as they like slippers and will walk inside them.

Just as you place your bare foot inside, OUCH!!!

It's OK, my own fault for opening it...

I hate Spiders too.

Ants as well.

But, this is the time of year, when the eggs are hatching and millions of Spiders start crawling around.

Those big black house-spiders are the worst.

I saw a medium sized one in the bathroom, but I was too worried to kill it.

I would imagine, it would just go away I hope!

And to think quite alot of people in the UK jump or run when a little thing runs out from underneath something, if one of those big things came near me i would almost definately run a mile as im sure alot of others would - never have been a fan of spiders to be honest.

They are very scary!!!

I saw a Spider the other day and I didn't like it.

Hazards of the summer. All these eggs are hatching and insects are going to take over the pavement and crawl into our homes.

I know my Spiders topic is an eye-opener.

Not something anyone would expect. So many Spider pictures and I spent quite a bit of time, selecting the worst looking ones.

Just a change and the true facts, that so many of us hate something which is so small, but so horrible and makes us look at the carpet more carefully.

Is a Spider hiding???

I don't mind them actually. I used to be scared stiff of them and decided to face my fear and hold one, and haven't been afraid since.

For a lot of people, it is just the shock!

My sister had one crawl over her face once and she screamed & screamed.

But, if you see a little money-spider, as they call them, it isn't so bad.

If I lived in Australia and I was faced with a Spider, I didn't recognise and it was crawling up my trouser leg.

Then, it is MUCH different!!

But I'm scared anyway

I believe in facing your fears, cuz it is the only way to get over them. I face my fear of heights, but I still shake like mad when I'm up really high. Still, I do it cuz I figure one day the fear will go.. either that or I'm deluding myself..

I know that advice of yours is good advice.

But most people will admit, that Spiders are frightening and if they themselves are not frightened by them

Then, their wives or children probably are?

"Spiders" are still the (No.1) feared thing.

I you have overcome your fears for insects, then, "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here" needs people just like you.

I will kindly opt out...........

Nick, you might wanna open up a free account with imageshack or photobucket, cuz all those images you posted are hotlinked, which is frowned upon in the internet community

Plus, some of them change their images to something offensive if ppl hotlink them, and then it makes it look like you posted something. Just a tip.

Thanks for the info Stropz,

I am no expert, when it comes to computers.

I have never posted a picture before in a Forum, this was a first. The Ant's were the second.

If anything does change in any of those links, then just UTU me and I shall edit it immediately.

I shall look into image-shack & doing what you suggest!

But I only intend to scare you with three topics, so after that, the fear will end.

But your'e not frightened!! So your lucky

lol.. no, I'm not frightened.. It takes more than that to scare me.

I use photobucket. It's really easy to use so you don't have to be a computer geek to master it. I'd try it first if I were you.
