It we are meant to be multicultural why do we have different countries and different coloured skins, black, brown, yellow, white.

Countries are a man made concept as is culture and society. If being multicultural wasn't part of the design of humanity then different races wouldn't be able to produce a viable pregnancy.

People can't look to biology to try to justify their bigotry.

Because if you are born and grow up in different climates/places you will have differing features as a result.

Different skin colours is not a feature given to people to not mix with each other. It's not like house colours in school.

What? Of course it has. Society as it stands today would not exist without multiculturalism.

NO you're misunderstanding what is being said. See Withano's post.

I imagine this family also have quite the tan from living in Africa, no?

The world has always been multicultural, if it wasn't we'd still be in mud huts if multiculturism wasn't a thing because it was the crossing of different cultures that turned Britain from a collection of tribes to a civilised society, to the most powerful country in the world and to where we are now.

We would be nothing without it.

I think people can integrate and live pretty peacefully side by side for the most part, I'd hate to live in a country that didn't have some diversity not just in human terms but in terms of food, shopping, music, restaurants, bars etc

Most countries would be pretty boring without some outside influences...think North Korea

Yep, multiculturalism prevents society from stagnating, the world has really come together in the last 100 years, and it shows, we went from black and white TV, to lifetimes of videos, pictures being uploaded by the minute. We've made massive advances in medical science, we have people up in space right now and it is all down to the world working together.

White British man or woman, marries and has children with a muslim woman or man.
that's just one example of not only multicultural but evolution of multiculture.

Cherie where I am from there is a huge divide in culture. We might not like it but there is

Not sure why my post was deleted. A pretty obvious question.

White British man or woman marries and has children with muslim woman or man, to be fair whilst it happens it is quite rare mainly probably because of religion. My friend who is muslim married a white man many years ago, they have mixed children obviously and my friends husband changed from christian to muslim and dresses in the muslim dress and attends mosque but still my friend is frowned upon for marrying a white man still to this day with some most of her muslim family. They are invited to certain occasions but not many. They have a very strong marriage for what they have been through and are still together 35 years later, good on them for remaining united
